BSG Review:

In this sitcom Penelope Keith plays another snob (as she did so well in " The Good Life ") and proves to be just as popular. When first shown, "To the Manor Born" attracted huge viewing figures - as many as 24 million watched the love between the pair slowly grow. Many now would find the sitcom a little slow with jokes few and far between however it can't be denied that TTMB appealed to a huge chunk of the previous generation and represents the golden age of gentle, warm traditional English comedy.
