BSG Review:

"The League of Gentlemen" is very different from any other British sitcom. It's unique brand of twisted, sickening, dark humour is unlike anything else we have seen. In addition, all the parts are played by just three different actors (in varying amounts of makeup), something else no previous sitcom has tried. "The League of Gentlemen" is funny but in a very bleak, twisted way. It's un-doubtably successful; in just three series it's managed to thrust a number of classic character and catch-phrases onto the unprepared public.
